As the daughter of a successful trial lawyer and a legal secretary, it was probably inevitable that Jody would end up working in the legal field herself. She started helping out in her father’s law firm when she was 14 and later, while attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, she obtained her first legal position. She has been a paralegal for more than 30 years, with experience in all fields of the law, including medical malpractice, personal injury, civil rights, criminal defense, and family law, and has worked for firms in Colorado, Hawaii, California, and Wyoming. She enjoys the challenges of complex cases and assisting attorneys with the intricate details of each case, but the part of her job she enjoys most is the one-on-one relationships she develops with clients. It is important to her that every client receives personal attention and support, no matter how “large” or “small” their case may be.
Jody grew up in Colorado, spent several years in Wyoming in our Jackson office, and now calls Missoula home. She and her two sons enjoy the outdoors, horses, music, and spending family time together.
